Alan Alexander Milne
(1882–1956)
English writer, best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh; noted playwright before the huge success of Pooh overshadowed his previous work.

This author wrote articles for the Dictionary of National Biography, 1927 supplement
